Typesetting has come a long way in the post physical block letters. As we move into a world where design can overtake content, we loose the core essential function of design: to convey information. Content defines the design, and can rarely be cases where the designer gets to flaunt his style. Good designers can do any kind of typesetting, and fit in. I truly love the study of classical typeset, seeing classical typeset, and learning from that.
